NARS Surf Coach Lifesaver Award
£295 per person
This award establishes a standard which allows candidates to manage a surfing class when combined with a Level 1 Surf Instructor award.
It does not qualify candidates to become Beach Lifeguards. Course is held over 6 days, 5 days training plus 1 day examination by SLSA examiners. The course content is very similar to the NARS BL award. Candidates must have a good level of fitness and be able to swim 400m in a pool in under 9 mins 30 seconds, and complete a 200m beach run in under 1 minute. The course runs alongside the NARS Beach Lifeguard and the course dates are the same as the Beach lifeguard.
These courses run alongside the NARS Beach Lifeguard and are held on the same dates.
